What is Oxy-Gen

About Us

Our mission at Oxy-Gen is to bring about a greener evolution in combustion by delivering low-carbon, lean-burning motor engines.

As the world's energy supply comes under strain, there is a call to action on global warming. Environmental regulation and new consumer awareness presents a chance for industry to move towards the low-carbon option.

Some pilot low-carbon technologies need large investment and longer development. However, a fuel-lean Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition engine (HCCI) can be quickly put into effect, offering long-term gains with lower capital investment. A bio-fuelled HCCI engine will offer more sustainable emissions for us all.

Our innovative technology promotes, sustains, and controls auto-ignition, while improving overall drivability. We believe this to be a unique opportunity for more sustainable transport.

Market Drivers

Fluctuating oil prices and legislated emissions will force dramatic change in the motor industry. With the global fleet set to almost double by 2030 to 1.3 billion vehicles and European CO2 targets likely to drop to 95g/km by 2020 pressure is on industry to react.
Personal mobility and sustainability will become more intertwined with climate change. The much anticipated Electric and Hydrogen vehicles may only make an impact after 2025 and in niche markets such as urban vehicles. Serious issues remain concerning refueling infrastructure, fuel power density, cost and range, this will hinder mass market uptake. When considered in commercial vehicles the challenges are even greater.
A bio-fueled HCCI motor engine could enable a more sustainable future for us all without the anticipated wait of other technologies.
